Arizona
Ah, Arizona. Many have called this home throughout at least the last bunch of centuries. It's no wonder when you consider the many wonders of this natural treasure. The people and visitors of Sedona, for example, are sure there is a spiritual inspiration emminating from this area like no other place, and they are conviced of this not by collective delusion but by the place itself.
When I was a kid thinking that the coolest stuff was probably right in our neighborhood, Georgie Messersmith, from across the steet, announced that he was moving to Arizona. When I saw him many years later when he was in for a funeral, he did look a bit more spiritual --not in a churchy kind of way, but more of the good-for-humankind kind of way.
We flew over Arizona many times, and drove through a small, beautiful piece of it on our way to Zion many times, but didn't really get what George got until Barb suggested we visit Sedona. Since then we've seen a lot more, and hope to continue adding experiences to this page for a long time. There is a seperate page for Sedona on Parks Photos and those same gallery links are duplicated below. There are also some national parks in Arizona, and those galleries can be found through the National Parks page.
