Utah

Utah, all of Utah, seems to be parceled as public lands. Certainly that's not true, but it seems every road you travel is marked Scenic Highway such and such, and maps of the state show a tremendous amont of space dedicated to wowing visitors in either state or national parks. Incredible vistas pour in through the windows of your car as you drive this glorious state, and every stop you choose to make provides some excellent photo opportunities.

So far we've concentrated our visits to the southern part of Utah. Zion and Bryce Canyon are the usual targets, but there is also so much to see around them that spending a lifetiime in each location still wouldn't begin to capture all of the splendor of such special spaces. We have been fortunate the last couple years to visit Utah at lest twice each year. We are definately planning to expand our travels in the state, but I will probably never go there without at least a quick stop at my favorite spots.

In addition to the galleries listed below you can visit Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, and the Dixie National Forest on their own pages through the National Parks link at the top of most pages.
