Maine

                My cousin Jim, aka Stubdude, moved to Maine from Pennsylvania around 1980 or so. Since 1993 I've been trying to visit each October. Because of the 12-hour drive each way, Barb sends me off without her. My friend Jim Patttison is always with me for these excursions. Usually we're not alone. Various friends accompany us on these road trips and spontaneity is the main ingredient.

These galleries from Maine go back further than any other in Parks Photos, although many parks have been visited often and long before my affection for Maine began. A big part of the fun in Maine is Stubdude's wife June, aka Juno. June is an artist of many media and much talent, and signs her works with her maiden name, June Kellogg.

This page could be a good way to judge my photographic progress, if there IS such an odious measure, or such an arduos audience. God forbide we stifle creativity with the burden of time and intervention. God forbide we judge!
